Igloo Coolers

Finally broke down and bought a 38-qt Igloo Wheeled Cooler. I had some stuff in it and lifted it right out of my car with the handle.
Very durrable, I need to fill it up now. I can’t wait to put “Food” it it and go camping.

In Saint Louis, we have a number of year round Farmers Markets. Soulard Market has been around since 1779… I would go every weekend if I lived a little closer. Although, It’s always worth the drive, Amazing selection of fresh veggies and most anything else you could think of.
I urge you to find a couple of your nearest Farmers markets on LocalHarvest, Go and make a day of it.
They are a blast and you will find some great food for very low prices. I love bell peppers, usually they can be had green 5 for $1, red 3 or 4 for $1. How much did you spend the last time you bought peppers?
After you go, Tell me what deals you found.
I was amazed to find that my Sterilite Tubs and Laundry baskets were Made in the US. I was so Impressed, I needed to find out more. Where were these made?
I use a couple sterilite tubs for Computer equipment and Music Recording equipment. Rather heavy and the tubs hold up. I also have one in my car to keep all the stuff in my trunk in one place (Very handy for Autocross Racing). A couple for my Laundry, had these since I moved out of the parents house about 8 or 9 years ago, that is durability.
So I sent them an email to find out more, I like it when I get a response to my Information requests (It means less writing for me).
Reply From Sterilite:

Had a chance to sample some of their wines. The Norton grape is not one of my favorites. However, The Norton 2005 was excellent from Stone Hill.
Every other winery I’ve had a Norton wine from, I didn’t like it. This was not the case for Stone Hill winery.
Their Chambourcin and Vidal Blanc are excellent too.
Made in Minnesota.
Epicurean has an impressive selection of Cutting boards and Knife holders. I have been looking for a Magnetic Knife Holder for a while.
If you are in the market for a Cutting board, You can buy Epicurean on Amazon.

I’m a very big fan of coffee, almost as big a fan as this bean is big. I have a cup (almost every morning). Grind beans > boil water> use the french press> Pour in cup > drink. I have the process down.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drinking TJ’s brand FrenchRoast 100% Arabica from WhoKnowsWhere, it is good. I do remember drinking the stuff that tastes brown, and still do when dining at a local diner. It goes well with the atmosphere. But, I much prefer the Aribica beans.
On Monday, I ordered some of Blue Horse’s Dark Roast, It’s now Friday and I’m enjoying an interesting cup of joe. It is different than what I’m used to drinking.
The Kona does taste very good, I’ll even go as far as excellent. It reminds me of the outdoors and makes me want to go camping. The description is really eluding me, luckily they have the Taste Defnition chart to my rescue. I’ll go with Nutty and chocolaty, Very earthy, but not like dirt. It’s not bitter, it’s not fruity.
$22 shipped directly from their site. If you think the price is high, check out their Kona Coffee Economics page. Any Fair trade coffee should be at least 15 bucks per pound. This is the best $$$ I’ve spent on Coffee in years. See the 10 Reasons 100% Kona Coffee Tastes better (I think you’ll agree).

1) Shade grown BLUE HORSE KONA coffee beans come from the famous Kona region, located on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kona’s young volcanic soil, unique weather pattern of bright sunny mornings and cloudy afternoons produce the ideal micro climate for this tropical plant. You will find that naturally shade grown coffees produces milder, more flavorful coffee beans. 2) Hand picked Our century old Hawaiian Kona trees are hand picked to obtain the best crop, assuring that only the reddest, ripest and finest cherries make it into your cup. The steep, rocky terrain of our plantation is perfect for the coffea arabica trees, yet it does not lend itself well to mechanical cultivation or harvesting, so most of the work must be done by hand. 3) Unrushed The 3 keywords for the best Hawaiian Kona coffees are: Wet-processed. Sun dried. Parchment stored. These traditional methods require much time, labor and experience, but are essential to the superb aroma and quality of pure Kona coffee beans. Coffee doesn’t like to be rushed. You don’t down a cup of it either – you sip it, right? 4) Pesticide free, herbicide free, kosher Our trees produce year after year superb naturally flavored Konacoffee beans with a mellow body and delicate fragrant notes. We apply mulch and other organic plant matter to enrich the already nutritious, young Hawaiian soil throughout the year and don’t use pesticides or herbicides. The island environment is fragile and we need to conserve and protect it for everybody. BLUE HORSE KONA coffee is grown, processed, roasted and packaged in accordance with Jewish dietary guidelines or “Kashrut”. There are absolutely NO emulsifiers, additives, preservatives, colorings or flavors used, nor are any other foods products processed on our farm. What you’ll get is kosher 100 Kona coffee, the way nature intended it to be. 5) Authentic small family estate Family owned Hawaiian Kona farms produce the finest coffea arabica Kona beans, because out here in the woods on an island we really depend on each other. There’s no ‘management turnover’ and more accountability. We have to think in generations and not only from paycheck to paycheck. The BLUE HORSE KONAcoffee farm isn’t one of those ‘gentlemen farms’ either, where other people do the work and its owners get a tax write off. Nor are we buying cherries from other farms and sell it under our label. 6) Fresh roasting We roast only small batches 2-3 times a week; then package and ship our product immediately afterwards to preserve its freshness. The essential flavored oils of Hawaiian Kona coffee are delicate and fade quickly when coming in contact with oxygen. So our zip locked, valve sealed bags let roasting gases out, but no oxygen back in. Unopened, these bags conserve the Hawaiian Kona coffee flavors for many months. 7) Lowest, farm-direct pricing No processors, food brokers, shippers, handlers, dock- and storage managers, roasters, e.g. are in between you and us. This allows us to sell the ‘real deal’ of pure Kona coffee beans at online prices cheap compared to others. Get your BLUE HORSE KONA COFFEE while this offer lasts! 8) Fast & Free Shipping To cause no checkout-surprises we include handling, shipping cost & taxes. Once purchased we’ll mail your Kona coffee beans most of the times on the same day. USPS Priority Mail normally takes 2 – 4 days to reach your mail box with this Free Shipping offer. Depending on the desired amount, your Hawaiian Kona coffee will arrive in either a simple functional envelope or plain carton. If it should be a gourmet gift we’ll add a greeting card with your words! 9) State Inspected & Certified Similar to real Champagne from the same named region in France, pure Hawaiian Kona coffee is distinguished from other coffees not only by region and its ideal growing conditions, but also by the enormous amount of care taken throughout each step. Beware of cheap brands calling themselves Kona coffee ‘Blend’, ‘Style’ or ‘Roast’ – it’s anything but from Hawaii! Also Ebay is full of impostors right next to the genuine pure Kona coffee beans. The currently best method for you to get real Hawaiian Kona is to ask for a State of Hawaii certified product. We here at BLUE HORSE KONA think that you deserve to get the best Hawaiian”Kona coffee”beans for the best price.
