<p>Costco had a package of Maglites the <a href="http://usamadeblog.com/2009/01/04/mini-maglite-2aa/" target="_self">2-AA LED</a>, and a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IXAJVY?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B000IXAJVY">3-D Cell LED</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000IXAJVY" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. I have this weird thing for flashlights.. so I had to get them.</p>
<p>My hose nozzle cracked last winter so I needed a new one. Gilmour has a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002N68C?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00002N68C">Zinc Pistol Grip Nozzle</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00002N68C" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> for a reasonable price at Lowes.  Be sure to check the label, Most of Gilmour&#8217;s products are made overseas. They do all seem to be of reasonably good quality.</p>

<p>Correction: Oops, I messed up. Lights of America does not make their Lights in America. <a href="http://mitusa.wordpress.com/2009/04/15/issue-no-1545/" target="_blank">Thanks Bill</a>, This has taught me to do more research&#8230; I must have read something wrong somewhere.</p>

<div>Please forward to concerned parties.</div>
<div>
<div>I recently ran an article about your CFL Twister style bulbs being made in the usa. I find out today that this is incorrect. I should have inquired, further, prior to running the article, this is my fault.</div>
<div>I respectfully request that you adjust your Company Info page (http://www.lightsofamerica.com/en/Company%20Info.aspx) to reflect this. It currently states &#8220;We are proud to be the only &#8216;US Made&#8217; Twister style compact fluorescent lamp in the United States.&#8221;</div>
<div>I have no problem with where you make your products, in fact I appreciate that you do what you do. But don&#8217;t claim to be an American manufacturer when you are not.</div>
<div>Sincerely,</div>
</div>

<div>I&#8217;m a big fan of Science Friday on NPR. IRA has a <a href="http://www.sciencefriday.com/blog/index.php?archives/382-Bad-Light-Bulbs.html" target="_blank">Great article</a> about something I&#8217;ve experienced in the past. Failing CFL.  I&#8217;ve had the best luck with GE brand. Stay away from the no name brands.</div>
