I checked out a Pelican case at a local Outdoors store (Alpine Shop).  The Pelican cases are very well built and have some great features. For example The Pelican i1010 Waterproof Case for an iPod has the usual crushproof and water resistant case with a headphone jack built in. So you may listen to your tunes while in a kayak or hiking, without worry.

I’m a big computer geek and a sucker for technology. I have been interested in this card for a year or two.  The day finally came where I gave in and bought one. When the package was opened, my eyes were drawn to where the card is made… WOW! the Card is Made in the USA.

The SD card was made in Milpitas, California. It does come with an SD card adapter that was made in China, but, the main product is made in the US.

This isn’t just your average SD card, It hooks up via wireless access point/router with your PC (see how it works here).  No cables, no hassle, and your pictures are transferred to the PC.

Comes in a few versions.  If you choose The Share, you now have the option to automatically upload to over 20 photo sharing sites. The Explore, which gets you geo tagging/hot spot access for 1 year in addition to the sharing sites.  I have the Home, it’s so easy, just take pictures and turn the camera on at home.  Photos get uploaded without doing anything.
