<p>Costco had a package of Maglites the <a href="http://usamadeblog.com/2009/01/04/mini-maglite-2aa/" target="_self">2-AA LED</a>, and a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IXAJVY?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B000IXAJVY">3-D Cell LED</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000IXAJVY" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. I have this weird thing for flashlights.. so I had to get them.</p>
<p>My hose nozzle cracked last winter so I needed a new one. Gilmour has a <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002N68C?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00002N68C">Zinc Pistol Grip Nozzle</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00002N68C" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> for a reasonable price at Lowes.  Be sure to check the label, Most of Gilmour&#8217;s products are made overseas. They do all seem to be of reasonably good quality.</p>

<p>My Uncle and I went to the shooting range last weekend. I enjoy plinking at targets.</p>
<p>We setup our targets, mine was at the 50 yard and about an 8-inch target with 2-inch wide rings . Turned off the &#8220;cease fire light&#8221;. He was testing something that about made me mess my pants every time.</p>
<p>Loaded this baby up with some <a href="http://www.federalpremium.com/products/rimfire.aspx" target="_blank">Federal .22 LR</a> and began plinking away. First few shots were difficult to tell where they ended up. Once the sight was adjusted a little, they started hitting the target. I&#8217;m not very accurate&#8230; <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA54RfhWoug" target="_blank">This guy</a> However is very accurate with his Golden boy, testament to how accurate the Henry rifles really are.  The main thing is, I need to do more testing. The plan is to put up some wax paper next time to get an idea of where stuff is really hitting, and I need a monocular.</p>
<p>I setup another target to test my old Winchester 190, Got the scope sighted in and I was able to hit the middle 4 inches of the target, most of the time. Still.. This one was missing something. I love the action of cranking that leaver after every shot. The Winchester 190 dosn&#8217;t have that.</p>
<p>All in all, I&#8217;m proud to own this fine firearm.  I can&#8217;t wait to go shooting again, maybe hunting. Also trying to figure out what <a href="http://www.henryrepeating.com/rifles.cfm" target="_blank">Henry Rifle</a> to pickup next.</p>

One thing I have been looking at for a while is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYU4IY?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B001EYU4IY">Leatherman Crater c33</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B001EYU4IY" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /><br />
or <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYU4JI?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=usma-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B001EYU4JI">c33L</a><img style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=usma-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B001EYU4JI" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" />. Finally found one at <a href="http://www.target.com/gp/search/175-7623406-2455225?field-keywords=leatherman&amp;url=index%3Dtarget&amp;ref=sr_bx_1_1&amp;x=0&amp;y=0" target="_blank">Target</a>. They had a pretty nice selection, at a fair price, of Leatherman tools in their camping isle.</p>
<p>My first impression upon opening the package&#8230; This thing is light. It actually freaked me out a little. The glass filled Nylon must is very light, along with the metal of the carabiner.  But it keeps a good balance with the blade. Once I felt the &#8220;action&#8221; of the knife I fell in love.</p>
<p>Opening the knife with the thumb stud takes some effort. This is good, I&#8217;ve had other knives open in my pocket&#8230; not a good end result. the Carabiner clips easily on a  belt loop.</p>
<p>I own another knife, it has been good, but This Leatherman is a Leap up in quality and craftsmanship. I can&#8217;t wait to buy more Leatherman tools now.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.leatherman.com/knives/crater-series/c33-c33x.aspx" target="_blank">∞Leatherman C33</a></p>
<p>Update: I have had some time to use this thing in the &#8220;wilderness&#8221;. I love everything about it.   Very well crafted knife. I also love that the Bottle opener captures the bottle cap. No need to chase the cap under the fridge <img src='http://usamadeblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   My only regret is that I may have enjoyed carying the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EYU4K2?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=usma-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B001EYU4K2" target="_blank">c33t</a>, With the included screwdrivers.</p>
